Abstract

The Medan City Sanitation and Gardening Service in presenting information on the location of legal landfills is still utilizing the Microsoft Word or it can be said to be manual. So it is less efficient in updating the object data. Researchers try to solve problems that occur by implementing geographic information systems that are implemented with the Google Maps API. In this study, data collection uses the RnD (Research and Development) method, while the system design used is OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis Design). The results of this study indicate that the GIS point of the location of legal waste dumps in the City of Medan Sanitation and Regulatory Service can provide benefits to the garbage transporters and the public towards effective and efficient legal waste disposal sites.
